Dolls put on style for a good cause

DIAMOND Dolls boutique in Banbridge recently held a charity fashion show in aid of Seventh Heaven animal sanctuary and Lucy’s Trust.

Entertainment came from the UK’s number one Lady Gaga tribute act, Debbie Bradley from Dollingstown, and from Vibe Academy dancers from Lurgan.

Eleven female models strutted their stuff on the catwalk including Miss Belfast, Miss Ulster, Miss Earth Ireland, Miss Balmoral show and Miss Drumbo Park. Three male models wore suits from Paul Costelloe at the Outlet.

Four of Diamond Dolls’ proprietor Brenda Part’s Chihuahuas also made an appearance on the catwalk.

Show organiser Emma Coburn, who also modelled at the show, was delighted with the response to the event.

She said: “We could have sold a lot more tickets for the event so we are aiming to take the show to a bigger venue this autumn or winter.”

Emma and Brenda thanked all those who sponsored and helped out with the event.
