Dolly and Cash head Crumlin way

A COUNTRY music spectacular starring tributes to America's finest icons namely Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash is set to take place in the Middle House bar complex, 47 Main Street, Crumlin on Friday night January 8.

Katrina Lee traded in working 9 to 5 for singing 9 to 5 when she began her award-winning tribute to Dolly Parton several years ago.

Katrina truly "becomes" Dolly when she performs. Her glamorous costumes and wigs create a striking visual resemblance to the Country Music icon, and her singing voice is a dead-ringer for Dolly's, setting the stage for a very memorable performance.

Joe Corey Promotions, the sole U.K. agents for the official Dolly Parton tribute show states that Kathy Kirby has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Parton's music and bears an uncanny resemblance to the superstar in both voice and style.

Katrina performs live and to perfection all the hit singles and back catalogue of Dolly including favourites such as 'Jolene', 'Divorce', 'I will always love you' and 'Here you come again'.

Joining Katrina on tour is Johnny Cash sound alike Johnnie Mac, who has been a fan of Johnny Cash for over ten years and has an in-depth knowledge and uncanny resemblance in both singing and guitar playing to the great man.

Mac performs all the hits including, 'Ring of Fire', 'I Got Stripes', 'Get Rhythm', 'Folsom Prison Blues' 'Hurt' etc from the Johnny Cash catalog of songs in that unmistakable Cash croak.

During the night the live backing band perform a selection of popular songs from the 60's to the 90's as well as some Country music standards, and rock 'n' roll' to cater for all musical tastes.
