Double offering from ‘Mexican’ Joe Walker

Having just come out of the recording studios a matter of weeks ago singer, ‘Mexican’ Joe Walker has returned to release a new DVD.

Recorded at the highly respected Pinegrove Studio in Ballymena, Joe’s latest offering features 18 songs reflecting some of his favourites including several gospel tunes.

The DVD which is also available in CD form, is entitled ‘Four Strong Winds’ and takes Joe on a journey around the country singing numbers such as Ride Me Down Easy, Where do I go from here, How Great thou art, Detroit City, Fly Away, Yellow Moon, Years from Now and I miss me.

It was produced by John Thompson Video Productions Garvagh who boast a proud record of having worked for some of the country’s biggest artistes.

Joe’s singing voice which has been compared with Don Williams has earned him a lofty position in the country music scene and he is regularly played on radio stations.

The affable Mosside man doesn’t court publicity and prefers to let his singing do the talking. That has not lost him any fans down the years and this latest effort will undoubtedly cement his standing in the community.

Both the DVD and CD are available from Camerons in Ballymena, Jingles outlets in Ballymoney and Portrush, Siimpsons Newsagents, Ballymoney Irene’s Spar, Mosside and Terry Corrigan’s music shop in Dungannon.
