Dressing up for charity

A FANCY dress night is to be held in JP’s Bar, Lurgan in aid of the Children’s Heartbeat Trust.

Following a high profile campaign by Aghagallon mum Mary Gowdy to save the Children’s Cardiac Unit at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children, the night was organised to raise cash for this vital charity.

Thousands have already backed Mary’s campaign which she spearheaded as her son Nathan’s life had been saved by the unit.

Mary believes the closure of the unit could mean that many children could lose their lives if they have no specialists hospital to go to.

The fancy dress night will start at 9pm and all donations will go to the Childrens Heartbeat Trust,

There will be prizes for the best fancy dress Everyone welcome.
