Dunluce visit for TV’s Tim

Stand-up comic and writer Tim McGarry embarks on a two-part journey for BBC Northern Ireland to discover more about his Ulster Scots identity.

In true McGarry style, the self-confessed sceptic questions if there’s any Ulster Scots blood in him? He also asks if Ulster Scots is truly a language.

Among the well-known landmarks visited by Tim during his journey are Carrickfergus and its castle, Bangor Abbey and Dunluce Castle.

Tim McGarry’s Ulster Scots Journey, a two part series is due to begin on Wednesday, December 11 on BBC One Northern Ireland at 10.35pm.
