Easy listening double bill

EASY listening and the very best of Irish country music are on the bill next week at the Grand Opera House when Foster & Allen present an evening of their most-popular songs on Tuesday, followed by an evening with Hugo Duncan and Friends on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, January 19, Ireland’s favourite easy listening duo Foster & Allen perform in Belfast as part of their Sing The Million Sellers tour. Foster & Allen formed in the 1970s and during the 35 years they have performed together have toured many times throughout Ireland and the UK, as well as across the globe in the USA, South Africa, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa. To date they have released 27 albums and 13 videos and have achieved record and video sales in excess of 19 million worldwide.

The following evening, on Wednesday 20, the wee man from Strabane - Hugo Duncan - returns to the Grand Opera House stage with his show Hugo Duncan and Friends, an evening of great craic and the very best of Irish country music.

Joining Hugo on stage will be the legendary Larry Cunningham, queen of country Susan McCann, the Louisiana man Robert Mizzell, recording artistes Trionagh Moore and Kenny Archer and comedy is provided by the hilarious Hill Billy Willy.
