The drama, music and children’s entertainment continues apace at The Market Place Theatre next week with events nearly every night to cater for all tastes.

In her own one-woman comedy drama, Are There More Of You, Alison Skilbeck tells the linked tales of four women reaching out in the dark.

It will be staged on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 8 and 9 at 8pm. Tickets are priced £12.50 and £10.50 (concession).

The Departure Lounge is set in a nursing home in a town somewhere in Northern Ireland.

When two men, James Allen and Henry Flannigan discover they share the surnames of two famous Music Hall artists – Flannigan & Allen - they decide to monopolise on their new-found music talents.

It will be staged on Wednesday, October 9 at 8pm. Tickets are priced £10 and £8 (concession).

Barry Walker’s Smackee have established themselves as the UK’s foremost showgroup, and on Thursday, October 10 they return with Phantom And The Musicals, capturing the excitement and spectacle of London’s West End and Broadway. Tickets are priced £17.50 each.

Eleanor McEvoy’s performances are intimate, emotional, uplifting affairs in which she explores soul, love and humour, using own compositions and interpretations from other songbooks, with her unique voice and beautiful playing.

Eleanor will perform at The Market Place on Thursday, October 10 at 8pm. Tickets are priced £14 each.

Award-winning NI Opera returns to the Market Place on Friday, October 11 at 8pm with Donizetti’s ever-popular romantic comedy L’Elisir d’Amore. Tickets for this event are £18 or £14 (concession).

The brand new production, Duck, Death And The Tulip by Cahoots NI offers a gentle yet compelling insight into a subject matter not often associated with Children’s Theatre.

This event is suitable for age 4+ and will be staged on Saturday, October 12 at 2pm and 4pm. Tickets are priced £7 each.
