Gardening Club

Ballycastle Gardening Club will meet in the Presbyterian Church Hall, Castle Street, on Wednesday, April 6 at 7.30pm. Come join their spring show and a talk from Cherry Townsend on growing cut flowers in Northern Ireland. Everyone welcome.

Variety Concert

Finvoy Pipe Band will present a Variety Concert in Ballymoney Town Hall on Thursday, April 7th at 8pm. The concert will feature Finvoy Pipe Band, Diana Culbertson, Eugene O’Dornan, Yodelling Kenny Archer and Mawhinney Three O Band. Compere is Kenny Archer. Admission £5.

Flower show

ALPINE Flower Show and plant sale is being held at Greenmount Agricultural and Horticultural College, Antrim. The event runs on Saturday 9th April from 12noon to 4pm. Plant Stalls open at 10am. Specialist Nurseries and refreshments available. Admission £3.

Coffee morning

Terasa Patton is holding her annual coffee morning for Trocaire on 6th April, 10am to 1pm in Stranocum Community Centre. Plenty of tea, coffee and home baked goodies.

Old Time Dance

An Old Time Dance will be held in Mosside Orange Hall on Friday 8th April. Music by the Ivan Kerr Duo from 9pm to 12am.

Autumn Leaf Dance

An Autumn Leaf Dance will be held in Magherahoney Hall on Monday, April 11. Dancing will be from 8.30pm to 11.45pm and music is by Housty. Admission is £4 and will include supper. Everyone is welcome to go along.

Rota chemist

The pharmacy will be open in the Northern area on Sunday, April 3 for urgent perscriptions: McMullan, 39 Castle Street 1pm until 2pm.
