Exciting times for Film@TheBraid
The local film club will be screening the classic Woodward & Bernstein true story of their uncovering of the Watergate scandal, in Alan J Pakula’s pitch perfect ‘All the President’s Men’.

Hide AdWith this being election year, organisers Gary, Paul and Tim thought it would be timely to screen this tense and dramatic film which still remains the benchmark for political thrillers.
Following on from the monthly screening, Film@TheBraid will be hosting Ballymena’s very first film festival on March 30 and 31.
Cinemagic have joined forces with Film@TheBraid to bring you two packed days of movie magic.

Hide AdVoiceover artist Marc Silk will be presenting a workshop for primary schools on Friday, March 30 and also a public talk and multi-media presentation on Saturday, March 31 showcasing some of his work, namely for Sony, Disney, Star Wars, Nickelodeon and CBBC.
Film@TheBraid will also screen Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Iron Giant and Moulin Rouge as part of the film festival.
Movie fans will be in for a real treat next month when the original movie maestro, Barry Norman, will be back in Ballymena to chat about his favourite films, answer questions, show clips and introduce one of his favourites, ‘Dirty Harry’.

Hide AdThis will take place in the main theatre at The Braid on April 14 and is part of the Arts Festival.
