Expendables return and this time it’s personal

The Expendables 2 is the sequel to Sylvester Stallone’s highest-grossing movie since his Rocky and Rambo sequels in the 1980s.

It includes most of the cast from The Expendables - a round-up of international action stars from the past three decades - and now includes two more casting coups: Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren),Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) - with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard - are reunited when Mr Church (Bruce Willis) who enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job.

The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries.

But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them.

Like the previous movie, it promises lots of over-the-top action, with plenty of fighting, guns, and explosions, and is sure to be a huge hit with fans of the first movie.
