While Mr. Boyd specialises in Counties Donegal, Londonderry and Tyrone. he uses the same criteria for research worldwide.

Teaching materials will be on hand showing enthusiasts how to use Roots Ireland to best advantage with live links such as 1901 and 1911 census, Griffiths Ancestry, births, marriage and death records.

Boyd has been researching Family History for the past 14 years and has done most of his research using internet sites at little or no cost.

If you have hit a brick wall in your research and don’t want to spend a small fortune on some of the pay per view sites, with little or no success, this may be the solution you have been seeking.

The talk will be held on Thursday, November 28 at 7.15pm in the Braid Arts Centre, Ballymena. Entrance fee of £1 for members and £3 for non-members.

For more information, contact Mr. Brian O’Hara, Chairperson at 028 25656854.
