Fatboy ready to rock Giant new venue

GLOBAL icon and electronic music maestro Fatboy Slim is getting ready to rock Belfast during a spectacular landmark event this spring.

Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, will make history on Saturday, May 8 as the first artist to perform a concert at Giant’s Park, located on the north foreshore of Belfast Lough.

Presented by PLM Promotions, the groundbreaking event will also play host to some of the world’s leading electronic music artists including Deadmau5, Kissy Sell Out, Zane Lowe and Sidney Samson.

From playing to 250,000 people in his home town of Brighton to headlining Glastonbury and obtaining number one hits, Fatboy Slim is both a pioneer and true superstar of his profession.

Famed for tracks like ‘Praise You’, ‘Right Here, Right Now’, ‘The Rockafeller Skank’, ‘Gangster Tripping’ and ‘Star 69’, he has notched up four successful solo artist albums and headlined major global festivals like the O2 Wireless Festival, Global Gathering and Glastonbury.
