Larne to host drive-in cinema this weekend

The event will take place on Saturday, August 15 at the Caterpillar car park, Old Glenarm Road.

First up is a showing of Pixar's animated hit Cars at 3pm, followed by 80s classic Back to the Future at 7pm.

The event falls under Mid and East Antrim Borough Council's ST.Art project and is funded by #PEACEIV through Special EU Programmes Body - SEUPB.

"We are asking all those attending to please use the bathroom before arrival," the local authority said.

"Toilet facilities will be available in emergencies. If anybody requires additional support during the event, please let us know so we can ensure your needs are met.

"As we are in unprecedented times, attendees are asked to remain in their vehicles during movie screening, in line with the guidance from the Public Health Agency."
