Flash Harry gig for PIPS organisation

ON Friday, February 8 the critically-acclaimed Flash Harry are playing in the Ashburn Hotel.

All proceeds raised on the night will go to local Suicide Awareness charity PIPS Upper Bann. PIPS aim to create awareness and understanding of suicide and self-harm, to support those affected and to improve mental health and emotional well-being within our community.

All money raised will go towards providing services such as a distress helpline, 1 to 1 counselling, Suicide Bereavement programme, training courses and many more, all of which are free of charge.

On Saturday, February 16 PIPS are running ‘Safe Talk’ Training. This course teaches you how to recognise people with suicidal thoughts and how to connect them to intervention resources.

It is taking place in The Hub in Craigavon from 10am to 1pm. If you are interested in attending this course please contact PIPS on 3831 0151 or email [email protected] to book a place.
