Flog it at the Causeway School

BE sure to set your Sky plus (or video recorder if you prefer the old fashioned way of doing things!) for this week's edition of Flog it.

Filmed in early summer, presenter Paul Martin enjoyed an old fashioned lesson in penmanship at the Causeway School Museum with one of the School’s ‘Victorian’ teachers, Miss Kilpatrick (aka retired primary school principal Ann Blair).

The programme will be on BBC2 on Thursday 28th October at 3.45pm. Also in the programme Paul and his team of experts value a variety of interesting antiques in the beautiful setting of Lissanoure Castle.

Eleanor Killough, Executive Officer, NEELB, comments: “We were delighted when BBC Bristol approached us about filming in the School. We had a fantastic day with team. We hope that this national coverage will encourage even more local people and visitors from further afield to explore the rich heritage of the Causeway School and its surrounding area”.

Eleanor is always keen to hear from any members of the local community who have links with the Causeway School or indeed any local community groups who wish to visit the School or use it for events or exhibitions. For further information, please call her on 028 207 31777 or email [email protected]
