Folk in Institute
THIS Thursday night is the usual monthly folk and blues session in the Members bar of Lurgan Institute. The music is by Folkin About and starts at around 9pm.
On Saturday night the Soul Man himself is in the Members bar. Andy Whittaker makes a welcome return to the Stute with his varied set. From Van Morrison to The Jam to Wilson Pickett he does them all, truly a class act and a great night out.
On Saturday, July 9 the Stute have dancing to Bliss in the Basement lounge. Admission is £3 per person and there is a late bar.
Members are reminded that tickets for the Thirteenth Dance will be on sale on Tuesday, July 5 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 each and early purchase is advisable.
