Fun, sport and games at Glebeside Community Week

THE residents of Glebeside are getting geared up for a busy week of events during the Glebeside Community Week and Funday.

Starting on Monday 18 August and finishing the following Saturday, the week is jam packed with activities for the whole community and there is something for all genders or ages.

Noel Anderson Community Development Officer for the Glebeside Community Association said: “Again we have set up a comprehensive week of events that will be appealing to all ages. Although the Funday on Saturday 21st is probably the highlight of the week but we have worked hard to develop a day of sport, fun and games for the community to enjoy.

“We would especially like to thank all everyone for their generous funding especially the Ballymoney Borough Council and the Small Pockets of Deprivation Fund and all the local businesses that have supported the events. Without this backing we could not provide such a range of events for the community.”
