Fundraiser for Cushendall Irish Group
CUSHENDALL'S Irish language group Coiste na nGleann has organised an Oíche Airneáil – an evening of traditional music and craic – at the Glens Hotel this Saturday night, April 17.
The event has been organised to raise funds for the Mother and Toddlers group - Grpa Tuist Agus Tachrn Lorg adain - and will feature some of the area’s most talented traditional musicians.
The event starts at 9pm and costs 5. Local parents are reminded that the Mother and Toddlers Group starts again this Thursday morning, April 15, at The Glens Hotel from 10am until 12 noon.
Mums and Dads are invited to bring their pre-school aged children along to learn Irish through songs and play - no previous experience of Irish is necessary.
