Funnyman William back on road again

FUNNYMAN William Caulfield is back on the road again.

Fresh from recording his latest comedy sketch show series for BBC Radio Ulster, and available to hear each Saturday at 12 noon on the radio, one of Northern Ireland’s best loved comedians, William Caulfield, heads out on the autumn leg of this year’s tour, “ONE STEP FORWARD TWO STEPS BACK”.

For the first time ever he is including Portadown Town Hall as one of the venues, and will be there on Saturday, September 22.

William Caulfield is now without doubt one of Northern Ireland’s best loved and busiest comedians. Packed theatres and the success of his TV and radio shows are testament to that.

From early days writing comedy monologues for BBC Radio to having his own prime time BBC1 TV and Radio shows, William seems to know how to hit the comedy funny bone. His BBC1 TV series last year, ‘Our William’ and his current second radio series on BBC Radio Ulster, ‘It’s William Caulfield, So It Is’ has shown he’s got that comedy touch.

With a keen eye and ear for all the things that make us laugh, and with his home grown style of humour, Lurgan born William is back on the road with a totally new show with all the hallmarks of what makes him laugh-out-loud funny.

Perhaps it is because of his comedy take on our lives here or simply because he is very much one of us; but whatever the reason, when he takes to the stage laughter is sure to follow.
