Lurgan lads Denny Coleman, who now lives in Killybegs, and Wayne Lavery are the duo who make up the band.

They play an eclectic mix of Irish traditional music, from ballads to folk songs, old and new.

The pair are already well known in their own right. Denny is famed as part of Shebeen, which recently reformed and sold out venues across County Armagh. Denny is a talented guitarist and singer-songwriter and has a wealth of talent under his belt.

Wayne was a member of Inchequin, who narrowly missed out on being Ireland’s entry into the Eurovision this year.

Wayne, who is a superb banjo and mandolin player, also sings and plays the whistles with Gael Force. He is a regular on the traditional session circuit across Ireland.

Gael Force can produce raw energy from the stage which has the crowd singing and clapping along. Then they can produce a thought-provoking ballad with great subtlety and passion.

The duo are performing in The International on St Patrick’s Day at 3pm.
