Galbally festival features big country music stars

A special weekend of singing and is in store for all country music fans on June 21st and 22nd in Galbally Community Centre as Nathan Carter and Mike Denver are set to take to the stage.

Nathan Carter is the brightest young country music star to hit Ireland for many years and following on from the major success of Nathan Carter in Galbally last year, the club are very enthusiastic about his return.

A spokesperson for Galbally GAC said: “We are honoured that he has chosen Galbally as one of his main summer dance acts. Galway Boy Mike Denver will headline the second night of dancing on Sunday 22nd June. Mike has a 5 piece band on the road and was the first Irish guy to record with legendary Country Superstar George Jones in Nashville in 2009 when they recorded a track called ‘The Real Deal’.

Galbally once again is very privileged to announce a weekend of Country music involving Mike Denver, Mike is no stranger to the people of Galbally and surrounding areas having performed there before over the years and is very well known for delivering a fabulous nights entertainment with lots of dancing on offer.

Mike Denver is pay at the door with admission being £12.
