With offices at The Diamond in Ballycastle, Solas volunteers provide a variety of services and the money raised by The Scenic will be put to good use.

The Game Night proved a big success with patrons enjoying a wide range of food from venison to rabbit stew.

The money raised on the night along with the proceeds of a raffle will be handed over soon.

Shirley McKinley from the Scenic said she was more than pleased with the outcome and thanked Barry Mullan and Colin Brown for helping source much of the food.

She also thanked Glarryford Shooting club, The Rook’s Nest and Tom Lewis for providing prizes for the raffle.

The Scenic will undergo a makeover in the next few days with new fixtures and fittings being installed.

And there will be more charity nights in the near future with 31 volunteers doing a parachute jump followed by a function in a specially installed marquee at the Scenic.
