Georgia books place in the Miss NI final

A stunning Portrush teenager is through to the final of this year’s Therapie Miss Northern Ireland Contest.

18-year-old student, Georgia Taggart, was named Miss Cookstown in a heat held at Sense, Cookstown.

Described by the organisers of the beauty competition as “a friendly, hard-working and very positive young woman”, Georgia’s favouyrite thing about Northern Ireland is the upbeat and friendly people.

“Everyone knows everybody and we love having a bit of craic,” she says

Georgia’s favourite former Miss Northern Ireland is Zoe Salmon. Georgia looks up to Zoe a lot and hopes to follow in her footsteps

And she also described current Miss NI, Rebekah Shirley, from Ballymoney as an, ‘amazing ambassador’ for the country and she would be honoured to compete on the ‘Miss World’ stage.

Georgia is hoping that she will stand out at the Therapie Miss Northern Ireland final - so we all wish her well!

The final is in Belfast on Monday, May 11.
