Get creative at the Loop the Loop festival

Every grown-up knows shopping with the children in tow can be a bit of a challenge. ISLAND Arts Centre and Festival Partner, Bow Street Mall, have joined forces to create the perfect solution. Simply pre-book in advance, drop your children off at the Island Pop Up Festival after arriving at Bow Street Mall before making the dash for your favourite stores and eateries, content in the knowledge your children are well looked after and enjoying themselves as much as you are.

The Fringe events are part of Island Arts Centre’s Loop the Loop Children’s Arts Festival. Lead by a team of friendly, professional Children’s Artists Loop the Loop Festival offers something for Children 3 months to 12 years and their grown ups.

Of course life can get complicated for parents over the summer especially with the balancing of child-care and professional commitments. So get set for the Loop the Loop Arts Weeks running late July and early August (with optional Extended Hours). Children will work with Island’s inventive artists to unlock their imaginations. It’s their opportunity to pick up heaps of brilliant skills, make some friends and have fun every day.

Unable to commit to full weeks? No problem. Island’s Loop the Loop Mini Festival events includes workshops and film screenings with a difference, community outreach and much more.

Families can also experience festival fun in 3D with The Loop the Loop interactive Children’s exhibition. Fun-filled, hands-on, even adults will be entertained too.
