The host is vocalist and songwriter Victoria Geelan, who has been active on Londonderry’s vibrant music scene for the past three years, working in folk, jazz and everything in between.

Her new ‘Get Outta Town’ original music nights will showcase her original music and collaborations with Derry artists, followed by a set by an artist from out of town.

The first Out of Town featured Victoria singing songs from her forthcoming album ‘Unfit the Picture’ with Derry-based pianist Neil Burns and Peter Doherty on bass, and was followed by jazz drummer David Lyttle and his trio who rounded off their 14-date Irish tour.

Described by Hot Press as a ‘one-man industry’, David Lyttle’s collaborations range from jazz legend Jean Toussaint to Mercury-nominated rapper Soweto Kinch to singer/songwriter Duke Special.

His latest album Interlude merges hip hop, soul and jazz, and was championed by the MOBO Awards and BBC Radio 1’s Introducing. Following live dates with Interlude in Britain and the US, he returned to Sandinos on his 14-date acoustic jazz tour, featuring rising star British alto saxophonist Tom Harrison (Heather Small) and Irish bassist Neil O’Loghlen (Louis Stewart).
