Get your thinking caps on for charity

A SERIES of quizzes are set to take place in the McConaghy chain of pubs in Lurgan to raise money for PIPS.

The dates for each quiz are: Courthouse Bar, Wednesday, August 3; Ashburn Hotel, Tuesday, August 9; Woodville Arms, Monday, August 15; Beehive Bar, Thursday, August 18; Grand Final Woodville Arms, Friday, August 26. All events will start at 9pm and the top prize is £250.

The qualifying rules are as follows: The entry fee for each team is £10 with each team restricted to a maximum of five members. The proceeds from each venue will be donated to the PIPS. You are welcome to enter as many rounds as you wish, however if a team enters and qualifies from more than one quiz they qualify from the first venue only. Only those named on the first qualifying team sheet and present on that night are permitted to enter the final, ie no substitutes or co-opting other entrants/new team members.
