Getting children out and about

CRAIGAVON Borough Council is hoping to get children out and about in the great outdoors to enjoy some exciting activities that they may never have experienced!

‘Outdoor Adventure Weeks’ are being run at Lough Neagh Discovery Centre throughout the summer for children aged eight to 12 and will include activities such as Den building, Kitemaking and Flying, Viking Day and Orienteering.

All activities will be led by enthusiastic outdoor educators who will ensure fun for everyone as well respecting the local environment.

All you need is a good pair of boots, a warm coat and an open imagination! The weeks commence on Monday, July 30, and booking is essential. The cost is £75 per week per person.
