Goodbye Pluto say hello to Belfast festival

LOCAL band Goodbye Pluto have been selected to play to crowds of up to 10,000 people as part of ' Festival Goes to the Waterworks', an event in North Belfast as part of the Belfast Children's Festival.

The local band will join some of Belfast's hottest acts including A Plastic Rose, Pocket Billiards, Cara Cowen and the Inishowen Gosphel Choir, as part of the family event in the Waterworks Park, North Belfast on May 22 from 12pm to 8pm.

Also on the day of the event the park will be dressed up with tree chandeliers and giant polka dots made by local groups and artists – even the water will be transformed with colourful dyes.

The event, ‘Festival goes to the Waterworks’ will be completely free of charge, there will be free entertainment, an open air music arena, a special children’s market in a circus tent, art workshops, a visit from the Cool FM Roadshow, a Skate Park, the Wheelworks ArtCart, a moving Flea Circus, circus performances including the Lords of Strut, Seamus McJuggler, Lungi the Puppeteer and many, many more.
