Guitar legend to play at NWRC this weekend

LEGENDARY classical guitarist and Paul McCartney collaborator, Carlos Bonell, is due to appear at the 10th City of Derry Guitar Festival at the North West Regional College (NWRC) over August 24-26.

The series of concerts will start with a showcase of some of the best local and international talent as Carlos Bonell, Gary Ryan, Sean Woods and Sarah Murphy take to the stage at the Guitar Gala, on Friday, August 24, 8pm in the Foyle Theatre of the NWRC, Strand Road.

Carlos Bonell and Gary Ryan will both perform a solo set, followed by a set for guitar and flute by our very own internationally recognised musicians Sean Woods and Sarah Murphy. The artists will then join forces for a grand finale for guitar trio and flute.
