AFTER a hugely successful event this year, Lark In The Park 2011 is already in the planning stages and is going to be bigger and better than ever.

Soulfly take to the stage on Monday, August 2 with Fear Factory playing the following evening - Tuesday, August 3. Support comes from Lurgan noisemakers Sinocence.

Soulfly last played to a sold-out Spring & Airbrake in February 2009. The American metal band formed in 1997, fronted by Brazilian Max Cavalera after he left Sepultura in 1996, along with Marc Rizzo, Bobby Burns and Joe Nunez.

The band has gone though numerous line-up changes, but the current line-up has been the same since 2004.

Soulfly incorporate many styles of metal with Brazilian tribal and world music. 'Omen' their seventh album was released worldwide in May 2010.
