Heritage Exhibition roll out
Local community groups are being given the chance to get involved with the recently launched '˜On the Brink - 1916' Exhibition.
Councillors have given the go-ahead for forms to be sent out to constituted community groups seeking expressions of interest in hosting exhibition panels at their community venue between May 12 and June 22.
The second exhibition to be delivered through a Heritage Lottery Funded three-year community engagement project, ‘On the Brink: The Politics of Conflict 1914-16, was launched in the Braid last month. It explores the impact of the outbreak of World War One, the Battle of the Somme and the Easter Rising.
