Historical walks in Ballymoney

AS part of its summer programme, Ballymoney Borough Arts Committee has organised two guided walks around Ballymoney Town led by popular local historian S Alex Blair.

Both walks will feature different buildings and siteS of historical interest within walking distance of the town centre.

The first walk takes place on Thursday 29 July and will include Riada House, St James’ Presbyterian Church, and Dalriada School.

The second walk on Tuesday 10 August features Ballymoney Reformed Presbyterian Church, the Masonic Hall and the Old Church Tower and Graveyard.

Both walks depart from Ballymoney Town Hall at 6.30pm and finish back at the Town Hall where refreshments will be served. Tickets are 3 and are available from Tourist Information, Ballymoney Town Hall Telephone 02827660230.
