Hot Country stars come to Iveagh

MORE and more country music fans are now watching the popular “Hot Country” shows on Sky TV Channel 201 every Monday night at 8pm until 9pm. Presented by Hugh O’Brien and his team down in Cork, the programmes feature many of Ireland’s top recording stars, also new stars breaking into the world of country music, plus the best of Nashville’s leading country singers.

The show is also repeated on Tuesday afternoon from 2pm until 3pm, Saturday from 2pm until 3pm, and again on Sunday night between 7pm and 8pm.

This show is a must for country music fans and if you haven’t yet seen Hot Country be sure to switch on next Monday night at 8pm on Sky TV 201.

Many of the stars appearing on the forthcoming Country Music Showtime” concert in the Iveagh Theatre Banbridge on Thursday March 3 have featured on “Hot Country”.

And local fans will see stars like Stephen Smyth, Sean Wilson and his famous accordion, Lisa Stanley (daughter of the famous Maisie McDaniels), Eugene O’Dornan from the Antrim Glens, ten-year-old singing sensation Simon Peters from Donegal, Enniskillen’s award-winning country duo Ally Hasson and Marian Curry, plus the new star that everyone wants to see. County Carlow’s Derek Ryan with his smash hit “God’s Plan”, the song that has taken Ireland by storm and he penned it himself.

Don’t miss this golden opportunity to see Derek on one of his rare visits to Northern Ireland. The brilliant Country Harmony will be along to provide the backing for the artists.

Show organiser Sean Wallace promises another spectacular night of country music.
