I was a size 26 - now I’m a super slim size 10-12!

LIZ Gillespie lost a whopping FIVE stones on a life-changing Weight Watchers diet.

She’s now a size 10-12 and loves shopping!

Here’s her remarkable success story...

After an appointment with my doctor I knew I had to do something.

My blood pressure was high, I had back problems, I had no energy and I also had to use an inhaler as I was informed that I had Asthma.

When my doctor highlighted all these ailments to me and reminded me of my family’s history, I knew I was being told in a very nice way that I had to do something about it- to get healthy.

I tried at home and was able to lose some weight. But like a lot of people do I went off my diet, and thought I’ll start again tomorrow.

After eventually admitting to myself that I couldn’t do it on my own, I joined Weight Watchers in March 2008.

Jackie my Leader weighed me and showed me my weight on the computer.

That was the start of the change. Like everyone I had bad weeks, but I knew that if I didn’t go to class, the next week would be worse, so I knew I had to face those scales.

I was advised by my Leader to take all my measurements, I did, it scared me - but it was the best motivation.

My measurements soon started to get smaller along with my clothes, and that made me feel fantastic!

I remember thinking to myself why did I not do this sooner?

The tips that you pick up are great, and the motivation that keeps you going on your journey from week to week from everyone is so encouraging.

I used to laugh as Jackie preached ‘Tracking is the Answer’. The Weight Watchers classes are enjoyable, and you always leave with a message.”

I now look forward to my meals. I eat what I want and what’s even better is that I am losing weight. The variety of foods is fantastic.”
