Jools Holland at the Watefront

JOOLS Holland has announced a Belfast show this coming autumn at the Waterfront Hall.

Having invited many prolific artists to join him on stage including Sting, Eric Clapton, Bono and Norah Jones, this time Jools invites Alison Moyet to be his special guest at this unique show.

Having a very successful music career with previous bands, the most recent being his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, Jools Holland has also enjoyed a successful career as a TV presenter.

Making a string of documentary's and presenting on various music shows, Jools now combines his musical talent and presenting skills on his popular show Later with Jools Holland, which is instrumental in introducing new artists as well as showcasing more well known personalities.

Jools will be joined at the Waterfront on Friday, October 22, by one of Britain's most enduring and acclaimed vocalists, performers and songwriters, Alison Moyet.

Alison enjoyed success at the early age of 21 as the lead singer of band Yazoo.

She then went on to release her multi-million selling debut album, Alf, at the age of 23.

She won Brit Awards, performed at Live Aid, toured world-wide and broke the Billboard Top 40.

2009 saw Sony release a career spanning Best Of album to celebrate Alison's 25 years as a solo artist which she followed with a sell out tour last year.

Jools Holland will be performing with Alison Moyet in the Waterfront Hall on Friday, October 22.

Tickets are on sale now and are priced at 41, 38 and a concession price of 35.00. Tickets are available from the Waterfront Hall and all usual outlets.
