The first couple is the hugely talented dancer Olivia Hayes who will be tripping the light fantastic with Mr (Ice Cream ) Nino Morelli.

Olivia can’t wait to get on the dance floor with Nino who says he was “quite nifty on the dance floor back in the day”.

At over 80 years of age, he will be the oldest contestant to date and is sure to bring style and refinement to the floor.

The second couple performing at Strictly Musicals 2015 will be the fabulous Emma (Sutcliffe) Durrant, former choreographer of Ballywillan Drama Group pantomimes and the one and only Roger Boyd of X Factor fame. This couple will be one of the highlights of the evening.

Third to grace the dance floor will be tutor Brenda Tosh and her partner Paschal Proctor, a former GAA player. They already have begun practising a very lively Charleston which will add sparkle and fun to the evening.

Next up will be Leroy Dempster, a well-known face on the local stage. He will be teaching Avril Lamont the American Smooth. Hopefully Avril, who runs Dunluce Castle Tearooms, can find time to rehearse at this busy tourist season at the Castle.

The fifth couple to spin round the dance floor local estate agent Kate Peden and event organiser Gerald McQuilken. Gerald is delighted to be doing a swing /jazz number with Kate.

Couple No6 to waltz away the evening is no other than the fabulous Maureen Roddy and Aaron Wright

There are sure to be a few surprises with Maureen!
