Kickback returns this month

Football-based programme, Kickback, returns this week to Craigavon and Portadown.

Kickback is a professional coaching and training programme for unemployed young men aged 16-24, which aims to develop team skills and boost employability.

Organised by ABC Council’s Sports Development Team, the sessions will be delivered by ex-professional footballer, Pat McGibbon, on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 1-2:30pm. The programme will kick off at the 3G pitch at Lurgan Town Football Club.

In partnership with WorkRoutes NI, the programme highlights the physical benefits of professional coaching and training, as well as the mental and emotional improvements in confidence, resilience, and the importance of teamwork to improve self-esteem. WorkRoutes NI ensures participants get expert advice and further opportunities to enhance their career prospects.
