Kilraughts’ success

Kilraughts Young Farmers has followed a very successful 2013-2014 year by thriving summer season.

Kilraughts kicked off summer proceedings by embracing the YFCU theme for 2014-2015 “Know your Neighbours” by joining with local club Glarryford to share accommodation and knowledge for practises for Stock Judging Competitions.

In the County Antrim heats for Beef and Stock Judging, Kilraughts had four members placed to the finals.

YFC summer calendar held many sporting events from annual sports nights, tag rugby and fancy dress volleyball. Kilraughts regular in attendance to annual sports nights with both male and female teams placed various nights.

Alongside of Football, Kilraughts both Junior and senior tag rugby team progressed from county Antrim heats to the Finals held at Antrim Show.

With great effort from all involved in teams Kilraughts gained there best result in date with seniors placed 3rd and juniors coming 2nd.
