“The move to take the event to East Strand Portrush and move the display line of the aircraft to the eastern peninsula will provide us with a location much bigger than we have used in the past.

“This event is all about supporting our local businesses, sourcing tourism opportunities and showcasing what the Borough of Coleraine has to offer.

“’Air Waves Portrush’ is Council’s jewel and we are counting down the days until we all see it shine against the backdrop of our glittering coastline”.

The rebranding of Northern Ireland’s only International Airshow and the revised location, will showcase Ireland’s biggest airshow event, allowing for a much closer display line and more extensive exhibition areas. Visitors can be assured of a fantastic air display and an engaging and interactive day out, with something to do and see for all members of the family.
