Launch at Town Hall

The success of this venture is described in John Lewis’s new book, Corfield Cameras – a History & Collectors Guide.

Ballymoney Museum is delighted to host a launch for this publication at 2pm on Saturday, October 19th.

Following on from the success of the museum’s last Corfield evening in October 2007, which saw a gathering of over ninety people including many former employees, author John Lewis has worked hard to put together more information on the company.

He is delighted to launch the revised edition of his publication in the town that was home to the company and where he was made most welcome.

Come along for an enjoyable afternoon - hear John speak about the project and take the opportunity to purchase a signed copy of the book, for a special one day only discounted price of £8.95.

How the people of Ballymoney who were hired for the venture quickly gelled into a highly proficient production team.

It’s believed that Corfield were the only firm ever to produce cameras in the whole of Ireland, so Ballymoney has a unique role in our industrial history.
