Leading lady Lynne launches new CD

RENOWNED local soprano Lynne McAllister is to launch her first ever CD.

It features a personal collection of songs Lynne just loves to sing. From Joni Mitchell ‘Both Sides Now’ to ‘The Way We Were’, made famous by Barbra Streisand, it features a selection of music to suit all tastes.

Lynne confesses that although the idea for her CD has been a dream of hers for some time it was only the help and encouragement of a close friend that ensured it finally came true. Friends who know her will say she is seldom at a loss for words but upon realising her dream of recording and releasing her debut CD that’s exactly how she felt.

An experienced concert performer, she has appeared with a variety of West End stars including Peter Corry, Jeff Leyton (Les Miserables) and Joanna Ampil (Miss Saigon), in venues including the Odyssey, the Waterfront Hall and the Grand Opera House Belfast.

She has produced and performed in her own one woman sell out concerts in The Grand Opera House, Belfast and worked as a soloist with renowned concert producer/director Hugh Wooldridge.
