Library event offering opportunity to meet award-winning crime author Louise Phillips

Lisburn City Library plays host to award-winning author Louise Phillips on Tuesday February 24 at 6.45pm.

Louise is renowned for her psychological crime thrillers and will discuss her work and career with local crime writer Eoin McNamee.

She will read excerpts from her latest novel ‘Last Kiss’ including her other successful books ‘Red Ribbons’ and ‘The Doll’s House.’

This is a real opportunity to meet Louise and uncover a passion for writing which began with her love of reading books; Louise will share her stories and give the audience an insight into the world of storywriting.

The event is part of Libraries NI’s ‘Catch a Crime Writer’ collection. Louise won the award for Best Irish Crime Novel in 2013 with her second novel ‘The Doll’s House’. She is also winner of the Jonathan Swift Award and was short-listed for Best Irish Crime Novel in 2012 and 2014. Louise teaches crime fiction writing at the Irish Writers’ Centre.
