Lisburn bands lined up for Pavillion gig

TWO Lisburn bands will be turning up the volume at the Pavillion Bar in Belfast on Friday night for the Sound of Northern Ireland (SO:NI) showcase.

Soulful Lisburn band Smoking Tongue will be playing a rare Belfast gig and Duncan Campbell and the Duty Paid Society will offering catchy tunes with some alt-country leanings.

They will be joined on the night by two Derry bands - rock'n'soul outfit Swanee River and alt-rock band Intermission.

Doors open at 9pm and admission is 4.
