Literary and Arts Festival

THE Big Oak Literary and Arts Festival will take place at Prehen House, Londonderry, over the weekend Friday, September 9 to Sunday, September 11.

The top-class line-up will include comedy, music, theatre, poetry and literature.

Taking the mic will be acts such as Owen O’Neill, Kevin mcAleer, Carlo Gebler, Little John Nee in the Derry Boat, Jinx Lennon, paddy nash and the Happy Enchiladas, Conor McAteer, John Deery and the Heads, Jason Johnston, Mars Field, Anita Robinson, Garbhan Downey, Free Radicals, Frank Rafferty, Abby Oliveira, and Solas Flamenco.

In addition to local singer, songwriter and musician Roy Arbuckle, thre will be offerings from Aoife White, Dave Lordan, Techno Peasant, Pamela Brown, Sarah Maria Graffin, Cat Brogan, Dave Rock, Melanie Bradley, Connor kelly, George Quinn, Morgan Hearst, Graeme Watson, The Guilty Folk, Anne-Marie Mullan, Yes And.

Tickets are available at www.eventelephant.com/bigoakarts, and tickets are from £10, with children under the age of 12, who must be accompanied by a parent, go free.

The event features the Brown Envelope Poetry Society in association with Prehen House.
