Local groups benefit from grants

Three clubs in Ballykeel and Ballee have recently benefited from funding from Children & Young Peoples Strategic Partnership.

Ballykeel Star Brite Tots and Ballee Supertots have received grants allowing different activities for the children such as Jo Jingles.

Ballee Supertots and Ballykeel Parent and Toddler Groups are supported by Ballymena Sure Start, an Action for Children led Project. Ballykeel Hip Hop Dance class now known as the Illusion Dance Crew have also received funding from Children & Young Peoples Strategic Partnership.

This will allow them to continue their club on Monday nights at Ballykeel community Centre, 7pm to 8pm for ages 4 to 11 and 8pm to 9pm for ages 12 to 18.

Ballykeel Star Brite Tots is on Mondays in Ballykeel Community Centre from 10.30 until 12:30 and Ballee Supertots is on Fridays in Ballee Community Centre from 10 until 12.
