Locals get to the Core of the action at Magners event

MAGNERS Comedy Core burst onto the local comedy scene recently with its first live gig, featuring nationally acclaimed comedian Tom Deacon backed by local funnymen Sean Hegarty and Colin Geddis, all tied together by compere comedian Micky Bartlett.

The launch event at the Limelight, Belfast, was a taster of yet more great things to come with a series of live events in the Mandela Hall due to be announced at facebook.com/magnersciderni later this Summer.

The comedy mood will be kept alive online with jokes and comedy footage plus the chance to win £500 for completing the online survey to discover what really gets us all giggling.

Comedy content will be provided via the Magners Comedy Cam that is currently touring the pubs and clubs to capture the bold, the brave and the brash telling their own favourite jokes.

To kick start each weekend, the online page will also host Magners Fridays with the chance to claim a free pint of Magners Original Cider on a Friday in participating outlets.
