Lurgan acts at Glasgowbury

THE full line-up for this year’s Glasgowbury Music Festival has been announced and includes a whopping 51 acts spread across five stages.

Lurgan acts Boxcutter and The Bonnevilles are among the star attractions at the ever growing festival which takes place at Eagle’s Rock in the Sperrins on Saturday, July 23.

Cashier No 9 are this year’s festival headliners while The Answer, Foy Vance, Boxcutter, Phil Kieran, LaFaro, Mojo Fury and many more had also been confirmed.

Organisers have topped up those numbers by announcing a slab of local talent who join the festival bill including Fred, Le Galaxie, Paul Shevlin, A Plastic Rose, Paul Casey, The Bonnevilles, Preacher’s Son, Kowalski, Seven Summits, Rachel Austin, Intermission, Gascan Ruckus, Kasper Rosa, Aaron Shanley, Dead Til Friday, Colly Strings, The Plea, Pocket Billiards, Team Fresh, Katie & The Carnival, Elspeth, Pat Dam Smyth, The 1930s, Phoenix Fire, Allie Bradley, Jason Clarke, Dolbro Dan, John D’Arcy, Paddy Nash, Sweet Jane.

Also, for the first time this year the festival will boast a comedy stage with a mix of established and up and coming talent including Joe Rooney (Father Damo), John Collleary, Colin Geddis and many more.
