Mace now open for business in Ballykeel

Local retailers Debbie and James McMaster have opened a new Mace store at Ballykeel Shopping Centre.

The store was formerly operated by the McMasters as an independent for 18 years until they recently expanded it and decided to partner with the Mace brand.

The newly refurbished store offers a wide range of services including Lottery, an ATM and a PayPoint facility. It also stocks an extensive range of take home solid fuels and home heating oil.

Since opening under the Mace brand several weeks ago, the owners have already seen significantly increased footfall and turnover due to exciting new promotional offers.

Musgrave Retail Partners NI (MRPNI) Mace Sales Director, Trevor Magill, said: “I’m delighted that Debbie and James, who have been very successful retailers for almost two decades, have decided to join MRPNI and partner with Mace.

“The Ballykeel site is a very exciting addition to the Mace brand, providing a fantastic range of services to the local MRPNI supports over 250 independent SuperValu, Centra and Mace retail stores in Northern Ireland, with a combined turnover in excess of £600 million.”

Trevor also pointed out that MRPNI is part of the Musgrave Group, the leading partner to more than 3,500 entrepreneurial retailers and food service professionals in the UK, Ireland and Spain.
