MADS! getting gleeful

THE MADS! production of Glee In Concert opens next Thursday night at St Anthony's Centre.

Show producer Kieran Corr said: "This is the follow up show after the fantastic success of Blood Brothers. We have got together 39 teenagers for this production, some of them have been performing on the stage since they were seven years old.

"I am absolutely delighted to say that we have got most of the female performers who starred in Les Miserables this time last year back performing in Glee in Concert.

"Emma Watson, Helen McCrory, Caitriona Corr and Megan McGrath of the production team have been working really hard at rehearsals and deserve all the plaudits for this show."

Kieran added: "The television show Glee is the biggest programme for 2010, the two albums released from series one have topped the album charts and the recently released DVD is top of the TV DVD Charts.

"This show is full of fantastic dancing and singing, one of the highlights being 12 of the male cast performing to the song 'Single Ladies' by Beyonce choreographed by Helen.

"The entire cast will perform hits such as 'Somebody to Love' and 'Don't Stop Believing'. Tickets for the Friday and Sunday show have been selling really well and the advice is to get a ticket as soon as possible."
