MADS hosting open auditions

Moyraverty Arts and Drama Society will be hosting open auditions for Les Miserables School Edition over the next two weekends.

The auditions will take place at the Brownlow Community Hub, Craigavon this Sunday, May 18 from 4pm to 6.15pm and again on Sunday, May 25 from 4pm to 6.15pm.

You must be aged 19 or under the date of the open auditions to perform in this school edition of Les Miserables.

A spokesperson for the drama society said: “We are hosting open auditions in the search for new talent and all the main principal roles are up for grabs.

“If you just want to perform in the musical then you can come along to any of the audition dates; do a short singing audition and get registered for the show.”

The musical has an array of principal roles and has boasts songs such as ‘On My Own’, ‘I Dreamed a Dream’, ‘Bring Him Home’ and ‘Do You Hear The People
Sing’.

The award winning musical will be performed in Portadown Town Hall from September 8 to September 14.
